At Quel Objet we are very practical sorts. So when we came across this new map, we were so taken with it that we wanted you to know about it, too. It doesn't take the place of our Streetwise Paris maps; it has more to do with who you are: tidy or perhaps a little disheveled. No more standing on the street corner with your arms outstretched struggling with the enormous map of Paris flapping in the wind, passersby eddying and frowning as you try to locate rue Jacob. No, be discreet. Slip your "Streetwise" laminated map out of your purse or jacket pocket, check your directions and the nearest Métro, and be on your way as elegantly as any Parisian.
"Streeetwise" maps show the city centers, the important sights, and how to get where you want to go. Laminated, so they last through endless folding and unfolding. We've used the "Artwise Paris" for years, purchased at a local bookstore. We're delighted that the "Streetwise" company has expanded their line to include six maps of France that are invaluable for Francophiles like us.
Note: Unless otherwise specified, we will send any single map to you regular first-class U.S.P.S. mail--much cheaper than UPS, but not trackable. More than one map, or maps ordered with other items, will be shipped via standard UPS options.
