Breadbasket,Castillon
Bread is taken very seriously in France, and how better to serve it than
in one of these attractive breadbaskets from Artiga. From the Basque
region in the Southwest of France, Artiga produces beautiful table and
kitchen linens. Egyptian cotton and a Grand Teint bath guarantee both
strong and colorfast fabrics. Their little breadbasket arrives flat;
press the snaps at each corner to create the basket. Fill with your
favorite bread or rolls.
And did you know that the very same
item also goes by the name Vide Poche? It means empty pocket. And that
is what you do: empty your change, wallet, watch, whatever you carry,
into it each evening, tidily contained, until you fill your pockets
again the next day.
Note: some of these have more red stripes, some have more blue. It depends where they were cut on the bolt of striped fabric.
