Ordering
We want your shopping experience at Quel Objet to be easy and straightforward. If you have any difficulties with the site, if you have any questions, or if you would simply prefer to order over the phone instead of the internet, feel free to call: 877 762-4499

Inventory
We try to maintain a complete inventory of products ready to ship promptly. We cannot always anticipate best sellers. If a product is out of stock, we will let you know and will give you our best estimate as to when we will have it. You would, of course, have the option of canceling if that delay is a problem for you. We are dealing with small French businesses and with the vagaries of international transport and customs offices. In-stock items are shipped either the same or next business day. As a general rule, we should be able to get out-of-stock items in one to three weeks.

Standard Delivery
We ship by UPS ground service. We ship from our facility Monday to Friday. In the contiguous 48 states, delivery ordinarily takes approximately three to five days. If you have entered your email address on the order form, UPS will send you your tracking number and anticipated delivery date. UPS does not deliver to PO boxes. Shipping and handling charges are based on the total price of your order, as indicated on the chart below.

Expedited Delivery
If you require expedited 2-Day or 3-Day delivery, additional charges apply. These are also listed on the chart below. For overnight delivery, call our customer service: 877 762-4499.

Alaska & Hawaii/ Outside U.S.
Please call our toll-free number for actual delivery charges if you live in Hawaii or Alaska. We do not ship to any countries outside the U.S., except by special arrangement; call customer service for more information.

For very large orders, we will check with UPS and let you know the exact amount of the shipping charge.

Gift packaging is an additional $7 per package; see below for details.

Gift Packaging

Most items can be packaged in our elegant gift wrapping, with a hand written note included. Just let us know what you want to say. There is a $7 charge for each package gift-wrapped.
For those items that we are unable to wrap, we are happy to include a gift card at no charge

Sales Tax
We are required by law to collect sales tax on both goods and shipping charges on orders shipped to addresses in New York State.

Order tracking
When we ship your order via UPS, UPS will send you a confirmation email, which contains your tracking number. To track your packages, you may call UPS with that tracking number at 1-800-PICKUPS, or you may track it online by clicking on http://www.ups.com/tracking/tracking.html.

Insurance
We insure all items with UPS against damage in shipping. Claims must be made to us within seven days of receiving the items. If there is visible damage to the carton, please save the packaging and contact us immediately.

Online Security
Your credit card information is safe when shopping with Quel Objet. Protecting your information is our highest priority. We have developed several safeguards to keep your information completely confidential. The checkout process itself employs Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to insure your safety. Secure Sockets Layer encrypts your order information and sends it to a secure server.

To check the security of your connection during checkout, look for the closed lock at the bottom of your browser window. This indicates SSL is active.

Further, we have decided to not set up accounts for our customers using passwords. While it might cause a slight inconvenience to retype your address and credit card information when you re-order, we would prefer not to keep this information in our files. Quel Objet employees never actually see your credit card information; it goes directly to the credit card processor when you type it in. Also, the owner of Quel Objet gets annoyed and frustrated with so many passwords and thought that you might, too!

Our Privacy Statement
We neither sell nor share your information with outside companies or third parties.
We use your email address for the following purposes:
1) to communicate with you regarding your order;
2) to send you about three emails per year, usually before holidays, showcasing new products; we promise not to bombard you with frequent emails.
3) we include it with the information to create the UPS label for your shipment, and UPS
automatically sends you the tracking number and expected delivery date.

You may add or remove your name from this list at any time; just send us an email.

Product Display

Quel Objet makes every effort to display the products featured here as accurately as possible. However, the display settings and color capabilities of your particular computer monitor may affect the colors you actually see on the screen.

Customer Satisfaction
At Quel Objet we stand behind the quality of our products and will do everything we can to make things right if you are not satisfied with your purchase. Our shipments are carefully inspected before leaving our premises, but in the event you are not satisfied with your purchase, simply follow the instructions below.

Returns and Exchanges
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it unused within two weeks. Returns should be sent by UPS or insured mail for your protection. Please include either the invoice or a note with your name, address, phone, and/or email clearly written. Once the item has been received, we will authorize the refund to your credit card. We are sorry, but shipping fees are not refundable.

After two weeks unauthorized returns will be charged a 30% restocking fee.

No return of merchandise is accepted after 30 days of receipt.
