product thumbnail The traditional French design motif of Le Coq, the rooster, (as well as chickens in general), while never dying out, has had a resurgence of popularity. We see decorative chickens as stand-alone objets and in a variety of items for the home. A delightful new restaurant in Paris, Les Fous de L’Ile, has a shadow box wall of decorative chickens, in ceramic, metal, wood, and fabric, all beautifully lit. That must have been in the back of our minds when we came across these, which we just had to have for Quel Objet. Now that we are looking out for them, we’re seeing them everywhere.
