When visiting friends in their house in the South of France, our hostess was sitting on the couch with an assortment of goodies spread out on the coffee table in front of her and clearly trying hard not to grin. Something was up, but I didn’t know what. I took an olive and was astonished to find that it was actually chocolate. These chocolate-covered praline dragées from Maison Pécou look amazingly like black and green olives, and are absolutely divine! You can have fun with your guests, if you haven’t eaten them all yourself.
